It's the kind of present you never forget seeing the first time.

A 53-year-old Ohio man has been charged with counts of animal cruelty and abandoning animals after he allegedly left six four-week-old puppies in a zipped suitcase. Fortunately, the puppies and their mother — who was waiting nearby — were discovered shortly after being abandoned and all survived the terrible ordeal. Yay!

It was  incredible that Trace Adkins and his family escaped from their recent house fire without injuries.  And now we've learned from Taste Of Country.com that the Adkins’ puppies were rescued from the blaze by none other than Trace’s 10-year-old daughter, Brianna.
