A Lafayette neighborhood was rocked by a high-impact crash that resulted in a car being split in two and catching fire, with one half of the vehicle hitting a nearby home.
The crash happened in Lafayette Mardi Gras afternoon when the driver hit three parked cars, injured two pedestrians, and sent 6 children to the hospital.
