The day after accepting the Republican Party's presidential nomination, Mitt Romney canceled an appearance Friday and came to Louisiana to see the flooded areas near New Orleans, acknowledging the damage caused by Hurricane Isaac.

Rain from Isaac flooded outlying areas of New Orleans Thursday. Waters rose very fast and several buses and high-water vehicles were sent to help evacuate about 3,000 people.
