We're trying to be tactful, but as you know, here in the great state of Louisiana, we don't always think things all the way through and this is a perfect (and hilarious) example of just that!

Let's face it. Louisiana is a pretty darn cool place to live. If you've made your home here, that means the history and culture far outweigh the threats of crime and Mother Nature.

Here in the South, we have certain expressions that are unique to our area. They were born in us. Our grandparents used them and their grandparents used them.

Tried to pronounce lagniappe as Lag Nipple, this Californian epically failed to pronounce these names!

The things Louisiana people fear the most are a lot different than those of other Americans and they're absolutely hysterical!

Dad Jokes, though occasionally humorous, are always unpredictable. Just because Dad thinks they are funny, doesn't mean the rest of the world agrees.

Living here in Louisiana doesn't make us overly educated when it comes to pronouncing some of these town names.
