The Massachusetts judge who oversaw former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez's murder trial is allowing his lawyer to question under oath an anonymous tipster who raised concerns about one of the jurors who convicted him.

A jury has found former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez guilty of murder in the first degree in the slaying of Odin Lloyd in 2013. The charge carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
