Marcus Sherels wants to win a Super Bowl, and it's a big reason why he's agreed to a 1 year deal with the New Orleans Saints.

The cornerback and kick/punt return specialist agreed to terms today with New Orleans, according to multiple reports.

Last season, return duties in New Orleans were handled by Tommylee Lewis (and several other fill ins while Lewis was injured for a bulk of the season). Lewis signed with Detroit earlier this week.

For his career, Sherels averages 10.4 yards per punt return, tied for 1st place in Vikings franchise history. He also has 5 career punt return touchdowns.

Sherels played collegiately for Minnesota, where he originally walked on before earning a scholarship.

He then made the Vikings roster as an undrafted free agent in 2010.
