Mardi Gras in the big easy... But is it worth it?

I know many people that would pay a pretty penny for a high quality spot for Mardi Gras in Shreveport. For years, while working at Phoenix Underground in downtown Shreveport, I would leave the club at 6:00 AM and find a spot on Clyde Fant to rope off and leave my car, just so my family would have the best spot the next day.

When it comes to Mardi Gras parades, location is key, but what's a great location worth?

This is a tough one for me to answer, because I've spent my life hanging out with the mighty krewes of Centaur and Gemini. Never once have I ventured on down south to take in Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

One Facebook use is selling his spot in Nola for $2,000!

New Orleans resident Kenneth Sampey posted an offer to hold a 10×10 spot on St. Charles Avenue for Fat Tuesday.

So, for two grand, is it worth it?
