The LSU Tigers are just a few weeks away from starting its fall football camp and are already dealing with a big loss.

According to The Athletic's Brody Miller and Jimmy Smith of Tiger Details, left tackle Dare Rosenthal has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

According to reports, Rosenthal has violated school rules again. This, after multiple violations in the past causing him to miss games.

Rosenthal, a product of Ferriday High School, was entering his fourth year with LSU and was set to be the starter for the upcoming season. The Tigers were actually projected to return all five starters to their offensive line.

Rosenthal was suspended during the 2020 season and he missed multiple games because of it.

East Ascension alum Cam Wire will now look to win the starting left tackle job heading into fall camp. He stepped into that role during Rosenthal's absence last season and started six games.

The LSU Tigers kick off their 2021 season on the road against UCLA on Saturday, September 4.
