LSU Men Look to Advance in NIT, La Tech into Quarterfinals

The LSU Men’s basketball team plays on the road in the second round of the NIT Monday night versus SMU, the top seed in their quadrant.

The Mustangs are 10-1 at Moody Coliseum since reopening the venerable venue in Janauary of this year.

Tip off at 8pm in Dallas, and you’ll hear pregame coverage starting at 7:30 tonight on 1130 the Tiger.

La Tech Moves on to NIT Quarterfinals

Louisiana Tech moved on to the NIT Quarterfinals with a win Saturday over Georgia 79-71. Tech led by as many as 26 points in the first half.  Alex Hamilton scored 20 points for the "Dunkin' Dawgs."

The Bulldogs will face the winner of Monday night's Georgetown/Florida State matchup in the next round.
