Nothing is truly hidden on the internet, and two Louisiana police officers learned this lesson the hard way.

The small town of Gretna, Louisiana is in the news today after two police officers were fired following a Facebook exchange threatening Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. News reports show one officer was fired for making the comment, and the other officer was fired for liking the comment.

The statement that led to the ultimate demise for the two officers was as follows:

This vile idiot needs a round, and I don’t mean the kind she used to serve

The Gretna Police Chief Arthur Lawson was not pleased with this comment, as well as the other officer who liked it. The chief says, "Alluding to a violent act to be conducted against a sitting US Congresswoman, a member of our government, we’re not going to tolerate that.”

Do you think both officers deserve to be fired?
