Geek'd Con, Shreveport's biggest comic and pop culture event, is back for 2022!

The show will once again be at the Shreveport Convention Center in Downtown Shreveport. The 2022 edition of Geek'd Con will take place August 19th through August 21st.

Guests are being announced on a regular basis now, and the latest was just revealed. Legendary actor Clint Howard will be coming to Downtown Shreveport for Geek'd Con in 2022!

What an insanely epic career...from the original Star Trek series to modern Star Wars stories, and so much in between. Clint Howard has done it all. Major motion pictures like Apollo 13 and The Waterboy, to cult classics like Ice Cream Man and 3 From Hell. He has been in some of the biggest franchises as well, like Austin Powers, Night At The Museum, Curious George, and even some of the original Winnie The Pooh and Jungle Book cartoons.

As big as his movie resume is, what he's done on TV might be even better. From The Andy Griffith Show, to Gentle Ben, Happy Days to Gung Ho, Clint has been all over the small screen. He's appeared in some of the biggest shows of all time, like Seinfeld, Married...with Children, The Outer Limits, Arrested Development, My Name Is Earl, Key and Peele, and so much more.

Recently Clint was able to return to the Star Trek universe in Star Trek: Discovery.

You can meet Clint, and all of the other guests, at Geek'd Con this August. Vendor info, and ticket details, can be found at GeekdCon.com.

Comic Book Movie Stars Who Have Worked In Shreveport

We utilized IMDB's filming location database to help put this together. However there is one movie listed there that we didn't include. IMDB lists X-Men Origins: Wolverine on their Shreveport list, but we struggled to find citing for this. So we just left it off. Some of these stars weren't in comic book "movies" specifically.

But we counted the Netflix Marvel shows, and MCU Disney+ shows as well.

We also added in an odd option...pro wrestlers. Pro wrestling has been a big deal in the Shreveport area for a long time, so we're going to include the wrestlers who've worked in the Shreveport area, and went on to comic book movie fame.

Here Is The First Comic Book Appearance For These MCU Heroes
