St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and that means it's time to bust out the Irish whiskey, the green beer and the green... everything!

It's the one day of the year where everyone is Irish and you can indulge in some corned beef and cabbage and Guinness beer. I'll admit, I'm not much of a beer drinker but on St. Patrick's day I can honestly say that I'll enjoy a pint or two of Guinness, and I'm not the only one because Texans can't seem to get enough of Guinness!

Just how much Guinness is Texas drinking on St. Patrick's day? Well, we already know what Texas' most popular beer is, but it seems that on St. Patrick's day, Texans are reaching for the Guinness in HIGH numbers!

According to the latest analysis from Casino BonusCA, they explored Guinness consumption across the U.S. during St. Patrick’s Day state by state and found where Americans are most likely to raise a pint.

They found that in Texas, who ranked 2nd in the study, drinkers are expected to consume 6.87 million pints, contributing nearly $72 million in spending. Apparently, the Lone Star State’s vibrant celebrations, lively bar scene, and iconic St. Patrick’s Day parades make Texas a Guinness hotspot!

In total, they found that America will consume an impressive 38.7 million pints of Guinness, estimating a staggering $421.6 million making it one of the biggest “jackpots” of the year for Guinness lovers across the country.

So, this St. Patrick's day, while many are going the basic green beer route, it would seem as though many more are instead going Irish and getting themselves a Guinness- which are perfect for Irish Car Bombs! Happy St. Patrick's Day! You can read more on the study here.
