The state of Texas is a sight to behold some days. When the weather is right, many love going out and exploring what the state has to offer. But soon, another massive trail is set to be created, and it may bring many outside even when it's scorching hot.

What Is Coming To The State Of Texas Trail-Wise?

Per Chron, House Bill 4230 has recently passed. What did the bill entail you ask? Well, it's main purpose, according to Dawn Buckingham, Texas Land Commissioner:

"The General Land Office is thrilled to work with state agencies, local governments, and organizations to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of Texas' Independence with the Texas Bicentennial Trail."

Where Does The Trail Go Through In The State Of Texas?

The trail is set to start at The Alamo, which we all remember, and end at none other than the state capital of Texas, Austin. In total, the trail will be 100 miles. At the time of writing, planning for the trail is already ongoing.

The trail is already generating excitement, in statements from representatives of the state. Will Metcalf from Conroe told Chron:

"The Texas Bicentennial Trail will showcase the beauty, character, and independence of the State of Texas and provide significant economic impact to the state."

So it looks like Central Texas will have a new trail to explore, at least by 2036.
