After days of searching, five-year-old Santiago Abruto Gonzalez has unfortunately been found in a creek located in North Texas. According to WFAA, the innocent five-year-old was last seen around 7 PM on a Sunday. Santiago Gonzalez was with his family and was seen outside the Ashton Park apartments, officials stated. On Monday afternoon, the five-year-old's body was found in the creek by officers. The body was discovered just west and adjacent to the apartment complex around 2 PM on Monday. Officials stated there was no foul play expected in the child's death.

Grand Prairie police posted on social media that the search for Santiago included officers and civilians from the Grand Prairie Police Department, Arlington Police Department, U.S. Marshals, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Dallas Police, and the Texas Department of Public Safety air support. Drones and canines were also on-site to assist in the search. Further details about the boy’s disappearance have not been released to the public. However, search crews were seen in the area throughout the morning into the afternoon.
