Shreveport Salad Spot Closing Again: What Happened to Greenhouse?
Greenhouse Salad Company in south Shreveport was a restaurant popular with folks who love to eat healthily. However, they abruptly closed their doors without warning in August of 2023.
Greenhouse is a quick, easy go-to spot for a healthy lunch. Who doesn't want to make their custom salad with everything you can think of? Some people are obsessed with the delicious dressings that they offer. Although the company closed down at one time, they reopened in April of 2024.
Unfortunately, a Year Later, The Greenhouse Salad Company is Closing Down Again
Josie Lowry posted on the 318 Eats! Facebook Page, a page dedicated to sharing good food finds in Shreveport-Bossier, that they were closing up shop at the end of the month. Her post thanked the Shreveport community for 13 months of support: "While our time here was short, it was meaningful — and we’re incredibly grateful for every guest who supported us along the way." Lowry said.
The good news is that Stacked and Tossed will be taking over the soon-to-be-empty Greenhouse location and opening sometime in June 2025. Stacked and Tossed has two locations in Haughton and Bossier City already.
