It's no secret that Louisiana is filled with unique festivals. From the Weenie Spaghetti Festival in Houma, Louisiana, to the festival in downtown Shreveport celebrating crawfish, Mudbug Madness. Ruston, Louisiana, can't be left out of the festival fun; in fact, the festival in Ruston has been running since 1951.

The Louisiana Peach Festival Returns to Ruston in June

The Louisiana Peach Festival is a long-standing Ruston tradition that dates all the way back to 1951. The festival first started as an event put on by local farmers so they could promote their industry, and since then, it has morphed into an epic festival. Now, the Louisiana Peach Festival is one of the longest-running agricultural festivals in Louisiana.

The Louisiana Peach Festival has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to Lincoln Parish and pumped millions back into the local economy, and because of the hard work and dedication of the team that runs the festival, they just won the Louey Award for Festival of the Year. Every year The Louisiana Travel Association celebrates the best of the best from Louisiana, and we love seeing Ruston get put on the map.

What can you expect from the Louisiana Peach Festival? Downtown Ruston will be invaded by people from all over Louisiana on Saturday, June 7th. It is the 75th Annual Louisiana Peach Festival presented by b1BANK. Make sure you show up hungry there will be food vendors and some of our favorite food trucks and live music the entire day. There will be art vendors and activities for kids too.
