Queens to Shreveport: 50 Cent to Develop ‘Paid in Full’ Series at G-Unit Studios
After buying the rights to the movie Paid in Full, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is developing the classic into a premium television series. This news, while exciting for fans of the 2002 film, is the latest in 50 Cent's growing entertainment empire. The show would be a huge addition to his production company, G-Unit Film & Television. With G-Unit slated to make Shreveport its new home in the near future, could Shreveport be the home of 50 Cent's Paid in Full series?
50 Cent's Multi-Million Dollar Investment Brings Back Paid in Full
50 Cent has dumped a huge investment into Shreveport over the last few years. Between the Humor & Harmony Festival and the G-Dome, the former Millennium Studios facility in Shreveport is being fully renovated so G-Unit Film & Television can have a state-of-the-art home base. As 50 keeps investing more into the 318, he's reminding everyone he really does believe that "All roads lead to Shreveport."

With 50's investments slated to turn Shreveport into a movie filming hub, it could be huge for Shreveport to be the filming location for a series based on Paid in Full. The original movie takes place in Harlem, but Shreveport has proven in the past that it's a great location for movies, and with enough effort, could easily look like a busy New York street.
The Future of G-Unit Studios Shreveport
While G-Unit and 50 Cent have a huge presence in Shreveport, neither the hip-hop star nor his studios has started rolling film in the city. 50 Cent has been busy filming for the new Street Fighter movie, and there's still no exact date for when G-Unit will open its doors in Shreveport. Without details set in stone for G-Unit, there's no confirmation yet that 50's Paid in Full series would touch Shreveport at all.
