New Roadways Alleviate Bossier City Traffic

The newly opened Walter O. Bigby Carriageway will connect North Bossier to South Bossier by allowing drivers to avoid highly congested areas of East Texas Street and Benton Road in Bossier City.

The carriageway connects to Benton Road and will take drivers through Old Benton Road to 3 new traffic circles, allowing drivers to exit the carriageway at Shed Road, Hamilton Road, or East Texas Street without stopping by the East Texas-Benton intersection.
