Women Wanted by Shreveport Police for Theft from Elderly Victim

Shreveport Police are on the hunt for two women wanted for stealing money from an elderly stroke victim.

The elderly woman's relatives called SPD when they noticed strange withdrawals from the woman's bank account while she was in a nursing home recovering from a stroke. SPD started an investigation with the Financial Crimes Unit.

Shreveport Police Detectives were able to figure out that the Elderly woman's neighbors were able to access her accounts following her stroke and hospitalization.

Warrants have been issued for Brittany Lopez and Jennifer Hutson for Access Device Fraud.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Brittany Lopez or Jennifer Hutson is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
