Arceneaux also says the event is expected to be bigger during the spring event. He says Jackson wants to use Independence Stadium to host several of the events during the festival.
The Mayor also tells KEEL there will be a dome structure used for the Humor and Harmony Fest, but he does not know yet if it will be a temporary building or if Jackson will be able to get a permanent dome structure built in time for this event.
What Happened With Humor and Harmony 1?
This is a sequel to Jackson/50 Cent's successful event that Shreveport hosted after coming to an agreement on a large-scale investment deal for the city. The initial festival did run into some issues due to weather conditions predicted for the inaugural dates. So Humor & Harmony 1 had to be split up and shuffled around the city. Which did cause some issues for the event, but once it started, it was a safe and successful weekend for the city.

The event was held August 8-11 of last year and included several big comedians including a surprise appearance from Dave Chappelle. It also included the legendary Katt Williams, Matt Rife and many others.
