
Shreveport Felon Arrested With Illegal Firearm
In the early hours of October 2, 2024, at approximately 12:42 AM, Shreveport Police officers conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet pickup truck for a traffic violation. The blue pickup continued eastbound on East Kings Highway for several hundred feet before coming to a stop in the parking lot of Brookshire’s, located at 510 E. Kings Hwy.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Kenneth Clay, was found to be in possession of a firearm. Further investigation revealed that Clay is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction. The firearm was seized as evidence, and Clay was arrested on charges related to the illegal possession of a firearm as well as outstanding traffic warrants.
