Shreveport Man Wanted for Disturbing Domestic Incident

Shreveport Police are on the lookout for a man wanted for a terrifying domestic violence incident.

Investigators say that SPD was called to a domestic disturbance at a home where an 11, 12, and 15 year-old were present and witnessed that whole thing.

Based on statements from the children, Billy Ray Russell was arguing with the victim in the garage of the home. The argument escalated when during the fight, Russell grabbed a gun and pointed it at the victim while making threats towards her. Russell then told the victim and children that if anyone called the Police, he would kill everyone in the house.

Russell left the scene with the gun still on him, and hasn't been seen since.

Warrants have been issued for Russell on the following charges:

– Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault

– Domestic Abuse Battery, Child Endangerment Law

Russell should be considered armed and dangerous, so if you spot him, DO NOT APPROACH! SPD is urging anyone with information to call them immediately.
