Who Is Playing Pickleball?

There is a myth that this is a sport for older people, but the largest percentage of pickleball players are between the ages of 25 and 34.

This complex will be an attraction for our area, bringing in regional pickleball tournaments from around the south. Data shows regional 3 day pickleball tournaments with 1000 players can generate over $1.2 million dollars in direct spending, including meals, entertainment and lodging.

The Caddo Parish Commission could take a final vote on this proposal during the Thursday meeting, but there are some questions from some constituents and that might result in a 2-week delay if those questions are not answered satisfactorily before the vote.
