SHREVEPORT, LA-  Three Arrested in Stolen Vehicle Incident

On January 9, 2025, at approximately 12:00 PM, Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Apprehension Team (VCAT) received information regarding a stolen Dodge Charger parked at a residence located at 3128 Woodford Street, Shreveport, Louisiana.

Members of SPD VCAT, the SPD Warrants Division, and the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office responded to the location and detained multiple individuals. After obtaining and executing a search warrant for the residence, officers recovered a quantity of marijuana and a pistol. The seized items were submitted to the SPD Property Room for safekeeping and court purposes.

The stolen Dodge Charger was towed to Shreveport Central Storage for further investigation.

Three individuals were arrested and transported to Shreveport City Jail for processing:

· Marvese Latin

Charges: Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

· Kevin Taylor

Charge: Warrant for negligent injury

· Kentravis Green

Charge: Possession of Stolen Property
