
50 Cent Meets Louisiana Governor: What’s Brewing for Film in the State?
SHREVEPORT, LA - Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has been back in Louisiana working to bring movie and TV projects to the area. He hung out with Governor Jeff Landry to talk about film tax credits and his plan for production in Shreveport and beyond.
50 Cent Meets with Louisiana Governor Landry
50 Cent was in Baton Rouge Thursday to meet with Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry and other Louisiana officials to talk about film & TV projects. Landry said on his Facebook page:
It was great to spend some time with 50 Cent today, discussing economic development projects in Louisiana. He even joined me for a pit stop to visit with students from Catholic High of New Iberia!

Jackson has invested more than 4 million dollars buying properties in downtown Shreveport. He also has a lease with the city of Shreveport for Millennium Studios (now the headquarters for G-Unit Studios) and he also has a lease for the old Expo Hall/Stageworks.

50 Cent's Plan to Turn Shreveport Into Entertainment Hub
Jackson has repeatedly said "all roads lead to Shreveport." He recently put a message on X saying Shreveport is about to see amazing growth.
50 Cent has big plans for Shreveport. Not only is he bringing his G-Unit Studios to town, but he also has plans to revitalize downtown. He's bringing in entertainment and sports, and planning a permanent G-Dome. He wants to change the face of Shreveport and bring in jobs, tourists and more entertainment venues.
50 Cent has signed a 30-year lease agreement for the property with an option to renew for an additional 15 years. He has signed a similar lease for the Stageworks building.
