North Texas to Get Baseball Simulator Sports Bar

Nothing screams “take my money” quite like a baseball simulator sports bar.

According to WFAA, Batbox revealed it would open its first U.S. location in Addison. The exact location of the 13,000-square-foot facility wasn’t given.

The sports bar will contain 10 baseball simulators and will serve food and drinks. Guests of all ages will be able to compete in challenges like multi-inning games, home run derbies, and pitching. As many as 18 people can fit into a simulator.

The Batbox sports bar is expected to open by early 2025.

The company plans to open locations in 25 “major baseball markets” like Houston and Boston, in addition to the North Texas location.

In a nutshell, Batbox is pretty much TopGolf but for baseball enthusiasts. So yeah, it's right up my alley. Food, beer, and baseball are among my favorite things in life.
