If someone in Texas decides to break this law they are facing a felony charge, but for some reason it continues to increase and it needs to stop, immediately. For most people the idea of dumping an animal somewhere is a disgusting and horrible action, but it’s a serious problem here in the state of Texas.

My dogs run to greet me as soon as I walk through the door, these animals just want to show you unconditional love. You’re Hurting a Defenseless Animal

I’ll never understand how someone could do something evil to an animal like abandoning them. They don’t have the means to defend themselves or survive on their own but you’re going to leave them. It is just cruel.

What to do If You Find Abandoned Animals in Texas

Please act and try to help any abandoned animals. You can start by calling animal control, call rescue shelters, and if you decide to keep the dog or cat make sure you take them to a local vet to make sure they are vaccinated and spayed or neutered.
