Maybe the time off this week wasn't a good thing for LSU. There was no midweek game this week because it was exam week on campus in Baton Rouge, and that lack of game action might have been harmful to a team who's consistently under-performed this season...

Rally Possum or not, the LSU Baseball team found some magic this weekend. It has been an up-and-down season for the Tigers, and this weekend encompassed both sides of that statement. After losing 9-3 on Friday, the team fought back on Saturday for a tough win, and then yesterday, the capped off an insane weekend on the road...

Time to hit the panic button? The LSU Baseball team had incredibly high expectations coming into this season, and maybe without those expectations, this season wouldn't feel like it was going poorly...but that's not the world we live in...

LSU Baseball has been a bit of an enigma this season. The team started the year as one of the top two highest ranked teams in the nation. But they've dropped some very winnable games, and seem to struggle with Southland Conference teams...

The sixth ranked LSU baseball team dropped another game last night, this time to McNeese State in Lake Charles.The Cowboys are now 9-and-4 on the year, and all four of their losses come against a nationally ranked Arizona squad. Last night's final score was 5-4 in favor of the Cowboys...

The weather wasn't willing to "play ball" tonight, so LSU baseball was unable to get rolling tonight at Alex Box Stadium. LSU was scheduled to host San Diego, which would have been the first ever meeting on the baseball diamond between the two schools...

After a hard loss to #1 ranked TCU on Friday night, the #2 ranked LSU Tigers were able to turn things around on Saturday, and hand Baylor their first loss of the year. Which set up a chance for the Tigers to leave Houston with a winning record in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park, if they could get by the 10th ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders...

Well, I guess the rankings were right. The #1 and #2 teams in the country met in Houston last night, and the game went the way you would expect based on those numbers. But the team did have some moments to grow from, hopefully something they'll be able to look back on later this season...

It starting to look like we'll need to dust of the "Cardiac Cats" or "Comeback Kids" tropes for the 2017 LSU Baseball season. It feels like the team is making it a point to start slow, and comeback in every game this year. If it happens 2 out of 3 games in a weekend series, no big deal...

The bar may have been set too high for the LSU Baseball team this year. Not saying that they're not performing well, but sometimes this season it's felt like the team isn't playing the way the pre-season experts made them sound. But that's not a bad thing...

This weekend was full of ups and downs for the LSU Baseball team. The season was supposed to start on Friday night against Air Force, but Mother Nature didn't play along. So the Tigers had to pull a double-dip against Army on Saturday to kick off the season...
