Workers at the Gettysburg National Military Park were amazed at what they found while cutting up a fallen tree.  Their chainsaw struck bullets!

The Oak tree was some 250 years old, which means the bullets were from the Civil War Battle  of   Gettysburg, which was fought there in 1863.

The rare find is being preserved and added to the park's museum.
