After teasing fans at last year's San Diego Comic-Con with an empty vinyl record of the Dazzler album featured in X-Men: Apocalypse, this year Fox Home Entertainment is delivering the goods. While a Dazzler record is still not a thing we'll actually be able to buy and listen to, Fox is bringing a collection of limited vinyls from Deadpool, Logan, the Planet of the Apes franchise, and Kingsman to Comic-Con. To make these packages even more impressive, they'll also come with the Blu-ray and DVD copies of the feature films.

The action figure world has no shortage of Spider-Man toys, as the webslinger has been on shelves continually since the Mego era in the ‘70s. However, not all Spider-toys are created equal. For every figure you wouldn't mind your kid taking into the bath or on a play date, there is an opposing iteration that you’d rather keep secured in a windowed display case that children under the age of eight would have a hard time opening. That former category are the kind of Spider-Man figures these new Hot Toys pieces fall under.

We hit up Steve Evans, director of design and development for Hasbro's Star Wars series, to talk about Hasbro's 40th Anniversary figures, the return of the Vintage Collection, and what lies ahead for the Star Wars Black Series.

It's always a good day when new Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys items are shown off for the very first time. The high-end figures and statues have been fan-favorites no matter what license the two manufacturers have turned their eyes towards, but Star Wars has a particularly special place at both Sideshow and Hot Toys. At Star Wars Celebration Orlando, Sideshow's booth was brimming with characters from that galaxy far, far away that could and should be the focus of any collection.

For four days, Star Wars Celebration captivated fans of all ages with remarkable panels, early peeks at the latest Star Wars adventures, amazing merchandise and spectacular cosplay. Typically the final day of a convention is a day of rest for the cosplaying faithful, but this Star Wars Celebration, there was no rest for the weary. With no new Celebration for another two years, cosplayers turned out in their Easter Sunday best for the final day in Orlando.

Since debuting with the New York Mets in 2015, pitcher Noah Syndergaard has become a fan-favorite in the Big Apple. As one of the most awe-inspiring aces pitching in Major League Baseball today, Syndergaard was quick to establish a memorable persona. That was doubly helped when a photo of him working out dressed like Thor made the rounds. The flowing blonde locks, the Norwegian name, and the larger-than-life profile made the nickname stick. Now, Marvel and the Mets have teamed up to give "Thor" his very own bobblehead in a promotion this season. Rather than just making a plain Thor in Mets colors however, the team and publisher are going all out with this original and exclusive design.

As we draw closer to the arrival of NetherRealm Studios' Injustice 2, the developer continues teasing us with roster reveals for the upcoming fighting game set in an alternate DC Universe. While to this point we've mostly seen some of the more traditional heroes and villains from the comics make their way into the game, today's announcement came out of left field. The Guardian of Earth himself, the Swamp Thing, will be joining the fight between Batman and Superman (and Brainiac) this May. Thanks to a new gameplay trailer, we now know how Swamp Thing will attempt to bring green peace to the world of Injustice.

Comic books and video games go together like pork chops and applesauce. Video games make the perfect playground for characters with abilities that are larger than life, and over the years we've been graced with a number of strong contenders for the best comic book video game. But like most creative ventures, not every swing results in a hit. Despite not being around nearly as long as Marvel or DC, Image has had its fair share of video games based on the properties it's published. While lately the Image Comics gaming universe has had a string of successes with the likes of The Walking Dead from Telltale Games and The Darkness from Starbreeze, the going wasn't always this good. In fact, at times, it was downright discouraging.

If you thought there was only going to be one Harley Quinn figure released from Hot Toys, then you clearly don't know the power of Harleen Quinzel. She was a multimedia superstar well before this film arrived, and her star is only going to shine brighter thanks to Margot Robbie's portrayal and subsequent "solo" film, Gotham City Sirens. Though the more iconic version of the character from Suicide Squad already got her action figure debut, Hot Toys is all about those variants, including this Bell Reve Prisoner iteration.

It was only a matter of time until the DC Bombshells made their way to the realm of Funko Pop. The characters that started as a statue series, then got their own series, and then got action figures and more collectibles based on that comic series have officially come full circle. As with any bit of pop culture though, you haven't truly transcended your medium until you get a Funko figure. Now that the DC Bombshells have found their way to the affordable vinyl figure series, they're even more unstoppable a force than they were before.

To this point, all the Injustice 2 details we've been able to glean from footage has mostly hinted at the roster and the customization options players will face. The narrative was a closely guarded secret until today's new trailer dropped. In addition to getting a few more hints at which fighters are making an appearance in the upcoming sequel, we also learned the massive threat at the core of the story will be none other than Brainiac himself.

Baby Groot may be in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 for really real reasons that are super important to the plot and not at all as a ploy to sell adorable toys, but that doesn't mean the pint-sized version of the hero can't have it both ways. Though much of merchandising plan for Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 remains a secret, we have seen some of the toys we can expect to hit shelves this spring and beyond. Baby Groot may have been absent from those initial reveals, but just ahead of the holiday, NECA is here to assure us Baby Groot won't be forgotten.
