On Wednesday it was announced that the LSU Fighting Tigers Board of Supervisors will be extending the contract of Head Coach Ed Orgeron along with two assistant coaches.

The new contract extension for Coach O will be two years in length and $4 million in worth.

The new contract for Orgeron also includes plenty of increased performance-based incentives. With the new deal, he'll be eligible to receive a $250,000 bonus for winning 10 games during the regular season, he'll earn another $350,000 for notching 11 wins and an additional $500,000 for gathering 12 wins. If he reaches the College Football Playoff he'll make an extra $250,000.

Coach Orgeron has compiled a 25-9 record since taking over as LSU's interim head coach for four games into the 2016 season.

The other two coaches who will be receiving contract extensions are passing game coordinator Joe Brady and safeties coach Bill Busch.

Brady will get a three-year $400,000 contract and Busch will receive a raise to $425,000 and the deal will expire March 31, 2022.
