Things have been relatively quiet on the promotional front for Patty Jenkins‘ Wonder Woman, which is not only the first solo female superhero movie in 12 years (2005’s Elektra was the last), but the very first from a female director. It’s especially odd considering all the promo for the film that’s come out previously has looked nothing short of exciting – that first trailer and the stunning posters had me sold immediately. But finally, Warner Bros. is rolling out a little more material to get fans excited.

After making her onscreen debut as Wonder Woman in last year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gal Gadot returns for her very first outing in the origin story of Diana Prince. The film, one of our most anticipated of the summer season, has already teased a handful of action sequences, from Diana stopping bullets with her cuffs, storming through a messy battlefield, and putting her whip to good use. The latest teaser, which debuted on FOX during last night’s episode of Gotham, has a lot of that same footage, but especially focuses on the film’s sense of humor.

There’s some light banter between Chris Pine‘s military captain Steve Trevor and Gadot’s Diana in the TV spot, like her commentary on the not-so-eye-catching grey fog of London. There’s another fun moment where the superhero tries to carry her sword through a revolving door. As someone who continues to have awkward encounters with revolving doors (and I’ve lived in New York City for eight years), I can deeply relate to this, despite not owning a sword.

While the latest footage may not have all that much new footage, it’s a great little teaser to get you hyped for what will hopefully be the saving grace of the DC Cinematic Universe. Jenkins’ film, which hits theaters June 2, also stars Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Lisa Loven-Kongsli, Lucy Davis, Said Taghmaoui, Elena Anya and Ewen Bremner.
