Tyrann Mathieu doesn't want you to call him "the Honey Badger" anymore!  What you can call him is... PAID!  Mathieu has inked his NFL contract with the Arizona Cardinals.

Thursday, the Cardinals made a committment to their risk/reward draft pick and signed Tyran to a four-year deal.  Reportedly, the contract is worth over $3 million for four years.  Mathieu was the 69th overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, his deal is worth about $100,000 more than the deal signed by the 2012 69th overall pick (Buffalo WR T.J. Graham.)

Mathieu has agreed to take frequent random drug tests to prove his sobriety.  It's unclear if there are any special clauses in his contract to stipulate that.

Arizona has shown great confidence in the former LSU defensive back, taking him in the third round and signing him for four years.

The Cardinals have now signed six of their nine member draft class, including LSU linebacker Kevin Minter who signed a four-year deal last week.

With Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, Kevin Minter and Curtis Taylor all on the Cardinals defensive roster... they may soon be known as LSU West!
