Two Shreveport men will now face criminal charges after an investigation into the illegal disposal of waste tires.

Cpl. Marcus Hines of the Shreveport Police Department says they were alerted to the crime by a passerby.

On June 2, 2016, Shreveport Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Darien Street relative to a report that two men were seen disposing used tires in a nearby alleyway. Upon making contact with persons at the tire shop, it was learned two men, identified as Damian Guichard 40, and 58 year old Gregory Bledsoe, were involved in the illegal discarding of the tires.

It was also found that Bledsoe had an outstanding warrant for burglary. He was taken into custody and booked into the Shreveport City Jail on charges of illegal disposal of tires, intentional littering, and the outstanding warrant. Guichard was cited for Illegal disposal of tires and Intentional littering.
