Two Big Favorites in Louisiana College Football Today

Louisiana Tech and University of Louisiana-Monroe are big favorites at home this afternoon.

The Bulldogs host win-less UTEP for homecoming. Tech is coming off a massive road win, where they went to Texas to beat University of Texas San Antonio 31-3. They're technically still alive for a Conference USA Championship, but they're going to need to keep rolling over teams like UTEP, while getting help along the way. They have the advantage over North Texas, but they're going to need UAB to drop a couple conference games along the way. UAB still has a road game with Middle Tennessee, and home games with Southern Miss and North Texas, which happens to be today.

The Warhawks welcome Texas State to Malone Stadium today. ULM may only have a 3-4 record, and have given up at least 20 points in every game (and 70 to Ole Miss), but they're still the favorites today against Texas State. But that's likely because Texas State only has one win on the season. ULM needs 3 more wins to become bowl eligible for the season.
