Trace Adkins Invites Big Brothers Big Sisters Group to His Lake [VIDEOS]

Ten Big Brothers and Sisters and their ten Little Brothers and Sisters spent the entire day swimming and cruising the lake in paddle boats, as well as a little fishing, naturally. Unfortunately, Trace was in Pennsylvania doing a concert the same day.  But according to Focus on the 615, each guest caught a fish and as a special gift from the ‘Ladies Love Country Boys’ singer, got to take home with a brand new fishing pole.

Adkins did call home to say hello, as well as encourage the party to enjoy their day. Lowell Perry, Jr., CEO of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Middle Tennessee chapter, spoke on the group’s behalf to express their gratitude. “The impact that can result from a quiet conversation between a Big Brother or Sister and their Little Brother or Sister while fishing is priceless,” Lowell said. “His [Adkins'] generosity in making his lake available to our Bigs and Littles speaks volumes about his commitment to children.”
