The LSU football program never wants to be in a "Must Win" situation, outside of a National Championship Playoff game. Sadly, tonight's Auburn game carries a little bit of "Must Win" feel.

Even though LSU has shown more flashes of greatness, the team still has that disaster in Wisconsin looming over them. A loss to an unranked team like Auburn could create a playoff setting for the rest of the LSU season. Even a narrow victory would make it a difficult road to climb for LSU.

Here's more on tonight's game from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"It’s a pivotal SEC West matchup tonight as the 18th ranked LSU Tigers visit the Auburn Tigers. The Bayou Bengals are looking to improve to 2-0 in the Southeastern Conference, while Auburn is trying to avoid an eighth straight home loss to Power 5 teams. Expect a low scoring, physical game. Auburn leads in SEC in rushing, while LSU has only scored 20 or more points twice at Auburn’s home stadium since 1994."
