The music world lost another legend Monday when rocker Tom Petty died of a heart attack at age 66. The singer / songwriter showed no signs of ill health and, in fact, was in the middle of his "40th Anniversary " tour, playing most recently to a packed house at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl a little more than a week ago (September 25).

But Petty and his band of four decades, The Hearbreakers, were also in New Orleans for this year's JazzFest, only barely five months ago. Petty, who was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 2002, performed all his classic hits, including "Don't Come Around Here No More", on April 30, 2017.
