Toby Keith is another one of our patriotic country stars. Some of his biggest hits are ‘Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue,’ ‘American Soldier’ and ‘Made in America.’

Toby Keith is proud of his love for America, and this year makes 10 years that he's been giving back by playing for soldiers in the Middle East on his USO tours.

Keith’s 2012 USO tour will be a 12-day gig that reaches five countries in the Middle East.

Toby will spend twelve days on his 2012 USO tour entertaining troops and their families to cheer them up in rarely-visited places in the Middle East durinh his 2012 USO tour.

Keith told GACTV, “I can’t believe it has already been a decade, it feels like just yesterday when I first started working with the USO. I’ve met so many great, brave service men and women over the years and had so many wonderful experiences, that I can barely remember them all. One thing is for sure, I enjoy working with the USO, I love our nation’s troops, and I won’t ever stop doing my part to extend my thanks.”

He started the USO2GO program in 2007, which collects and sends non-perishable food and personal care items, electronics and entertainment items to troops at remote bases.

His chain of restaurants gives free burgers and drinks to soldiers just returning to the States. Toby visits wounded warrior hospitals to pay his respects too.

Toby Keith's summer tour starts here in the U.S.  in June.

American Soldier - Lyrics

I’m just tryin’ to be a father, raise a daughter and a son
Be a lover to their mother, everythin’ to everyone
Up and at ‘em bright and early, I’m all business in my suit
Yeah I’m dressed up for success, from my head down to my boots
I don’t do it for money, there’s bills that I can’t pay
I don’t do it for the glory, I just do it anyway

Providing for our future’s, my responsibility
Yeah I’m real good under pressure, being all that I can be
And I can’t call in sick on Mondays when the weekend’s been too strong
I just work straight through the holidays, and sometimes all night long
You can bet that I stand ready, when the wolf growls at the door
Hey I’m solid, hey I’m steady, hey I’m true down to the core.

And I will always do my duty no matter what the price
I’ve counted up the cost, I know the sacrifice
Oh and I don’t want to die for you, but if dyin’s asked of me
I’ll bear that cross with honor, cause freedom don’t come free.

I’m an American Soldier an American
Beside my brothers and my sisters, I will proudly take a stand
When liberty’s in jeopardy, I will always do what’s right

I’m out here on the front lines, sleep in peace tonight
American Soldier, I’m and American, Soldier.

An American Soldier an American
Beside my brothers and my sisters, I will proudly take a stand
When liberty’s in jeopardy, I will always do what’s right
I’m out here on the front lines, sleep in peace tonight
American Soldier, I’m an American, an American, an American, Soldier.

Made In America - Lyrics

My old man’s that old man
Spent his life livin’ off the land
Dirty hands and a clean soul
It breaks his heart seein’ foreign cars
Filled with fuel that isn’t ours
And wearin’ cotton we didn’t grow

[chorus]
He’s got the red, white, blue
Flyin’ high on the farm
Semper fi tattooed on his left arm
Spend a little more in the store for a tag
In the back that says “USA
He won’t buy nothin’ that he can’t fix
With WD-40 and a Craftsman wrench
He ain’t prejudice, he’s just
Made in America

He loves his wife but she’s that wife
That decorates on the 4th of July
But says, “Every day is Independence Day”
She’s golden rule, teaches school
Some folks say it isn’t cool
But she says the “Pledge of Allegiance” any way

[Repeat chorus]

Born in the heartland
Raised up a family
Of King James and Uncle Sam

[Repeat chorus]

Made in America
Made in America
Yeah, my old man’s that old man
Made in America
