Television analyst for CBS Sports and host of the highly successful Tim Brando Show on Sirius XM Radio, Tim Brando, called into The Tim Fletcher Show Tuesday morning.

Brando joined Fletch to talk about the demise of the BCS, and how happy he is it's finally gone.

Following the Florida State Seminoles 34-31 victory over the Auburn Tigers, that ended the streak of seven consecutive bowl championships that were won by members of the Southeastern Conference.

The victory also ended the reign of the BCS, the highly controversial automatic qualifier that decides which teams get to compete for a national championship, instead of having a playoff.

We will all see a college football playoff beginning next season, and there is no one happier to see this than Tim Brando.
