Coach Les Miles gives the boot to one of his players.

Less than two weeks after running afoul of the law, Trey Lealaimatafao has been booted off the LSU football team by Les Miles.  On June 16th, the freshman defensive lineman from San Antonio allegedly was pilfering through the pockets of a man lying unconscious in the parking lot outside a Baton Rouge bar when the man's girlfriend tried to get Lealaimatafao to stop.  According to police in Baton Rouge, the 6'0, 300-pound football player punched the woman in the face.
Miles said in a statement released through the school's sports information department, "Trey is no longer a member of our football team. We have gathered information on the incident and we feel it is best for us to part ways."
This was the third incident for Lealaimatafao as a Tiger.  His troubles started when he punched through a glass window in the LSU weight room as a freshman and continued when issued a summons for stealing a bicycle last summer.
