Tim Fletcher: SEC’s Preseason Player Of The Year From LSU

Yet to play a game in college, LSU fab freshman Ben Simmons is already making his mark. On Wednesday, the top-prospect in the 2015 signing class was named the SEC's preseason player of the year.

Fellow rookie, Kentucky's Skal Labissierre, joined Simmons on the preseason 1st team all-SEC squad. Simmons teammate at LSU, Tim Quarterman, was picked for the second team

Labissierre and his Wildcats are the choice to win the league according to the media, with LSU pegged to finish fourth.
