The Texas Rangers could not close out Toronto in game 4 of their American League Division Series, losing to the Blue Jays 8-4. The deciding game five will be played in Toronto Wednesday night. Former Ranger pitcher, R.A. Dickey held Texas at bay through 4.2 innings of work before turning the game over to Blue Jays ace, David Price.  All the offense the Jays needed occurred early.

Ben Revere led off the game with a bunt single. Josh Donaldson followed with a two-run homer that mellowed a rowdy bunch of Rangers fans. Chris Colabello added a solo homer with two outs in the first to give the Jays a 3-0 lead.  Kevin Pillar homered in the second and Colabello doubled in a run as part of a three-run third inning to give the guests a 7-0 lead. The Rangers didn't pose much of a threat after that.
