LSU players reported for the 2015 season Wednesday in Baton Rouge.  It didn't take long for head coach Les Miles to inform the media assembled for the official start of the preseason the quarterback race between Parkway's Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings is too close to call.

Jennings was reinstated to the team after serving a suspension that lasted all summer for his role in an alleged incident off campus.  When asked if Jennings faces a game suspension, even though charges were dropped, Miles said, "You'll see that as it unfolds, but I certainly wouldn't guarantee that it any way."  Pressed on the issue, especially considering Harris worked with receivers throughout June and July, when Jennings was unable to do so, Miles said, "I think there's real closeness. One guy hasn't separate himself from the other and both guys are playing much better."

Stating the obvious when asked which position on the field needs to be rectified ASAP, Miles said, "Quarterback. We'll have to find us that starter," according to Glenn Guilbeau of the Shreveport Times.
