Tim Fletcher: LSU vs Alabama Will Be Prime Time

As expected, next Saturday's annual showdown between LSU and Alabama in Tuscaloosa has been tabbed for a prime-time kickoff on CBS. It's the fifth straight year the network moved the grudge match with conference and sometimes, national title implications to an evening start.

It's also the ninth straight time CBS exercised it's option to broadcast the game.

Both the fourth-ranked and unbeaten Tigers as well as seventh-ranked and once-beaten twice-shy Bama are off this week, getting nice and healthy before the November 7th tilt.
