In a Baton Rouge Advocate article, two former LSU Tigers who were on the squad last year sized up the quarterback competition between Parkway alum, Brandon Harris and junior Anthony Jennings, who was recently reinstated to the team after charges were dropped against him and two teammates from an incident in the spring.  The two players, who spoke to The Advocate's Ross Dellanger anonymously, said the two quarterbacks were "neck and neck" in practice last year, but Harris has used the summer to mesh with his receivers while Jennings was under suspension.  One former player said the receivers feel great with Harris and now have a bond with him.

One of the two ex-Tigers said offensive coordinator Cam Cameron seemed irritated at times with Harris last year and spoke to him "with a chip on his shoulder."  That has changed this offseason, with the player saying Cameron talks to Harris more, "Man-to-Man".

LSU's preseason camp starts this week, with players reporting to campus Wednesday.
