LSU quarterback and former Parkway Panther Brandon Harris, teammate Malachi Dupre and a handful of their fellow students spent a good portion of their Monday night helping stranded motorists at a flooded intersection near campus.

Harris told us a recently widowed woman and her young son were trapped in car surrounded by rising flood waters. Harris and others helped get the woman and her child out of the car and to safety.

Les Miles said the duo also dove into the water to retrieve insulin for the boy. Harris said the group helped push cars to higher ground during the evening.
