Tim Fletcher: LSU Football Assistant Texting Ban

An LSU football assistant coach won't be texting and driving... texting during a movie... or texting at all on his university-paid phone for the next few months.

The Advocate obtained documents detailing NCAA sanctions against the unnamed assistant who made an impermissible text to a recruit this past spring.  His texting feature on the phone was disabled on June 1st and won't be turned back on until December 1st.
