Tim Fletcher: Local High School Football Takes Over Tonight

Dozens of high school football games dot the landscape tonight, the first Friday of the regular season.  Byrd hosts Barbe, Airline welcomes Union Parish in feature games on either side of the Red River.

Defending Class 1A state champion Haynesville welcomes North Webster and dual-threat stud Devin White in the headline matchup outside the city limits.
