Houston rallied from a 3-1 deficit to knock off Boston, 8-3, extending the Red Sox losing streak to six games.  Designated hitter, Chris Carter snapped an 0-for-20 slump with his first multi-hit game since June 27th.  Carlos Correa added a pair of RBI and rookie pitcher Vince Velasquez earned his first big league win after being called up from AA Corpus Christi earlier in the day.

Houston has fallen out of first place in the American League west, cooling off at the exact time the front running Angels got red-hot. Houston entered last night's game at home with Boston with a 3-9 record in their last twelve games, while the Angels have won 13 of their last 16 games.
